What You Need to Know About 2019 AUDI E-Tron

Audi lovers can feel happy, as the 2019 Audi e-Tron is ready to go on sale in the second quarter of 2019. We’ve prepared the five most important things you should know about the car.

Powertrain: The Audi e-Tron is made with two motors – one on each axle, and a large plate of batteries in between. The car has been given 402 hp (300 kw) and 489 lb-ft of torque. It’s able to power each axle independently and uses brake torque vectoring to split power to the rear.

Size: For the comparison, let’s say that it’s smaller than the Tesla Model X but bigger than the Jaguar I-Pace. Because of mainly the electric power an low center of gravity, it feels quite small.

Tech: Here comes the coolest part of tech – instead of sideview mirrors,
audi e-Tron has two cameras that display those views in windows on the door panels. Although this new technology seems quite crazy and cool, it still requires some time to get used to it used to focus at that point and at that depth. It does shrink blind spots to near-zero.

Price: When the 2019 e-Tron goes on sale in 2019, it will start at $75,795 for the Premium Plus trim. The Prestige model, one offers some more additional features like a head-up display, driver assistance package, power door closers and more, comes in at $82,795.
