A great relationship isn’t just expensive shows of affection all the time. The most important things here are the sweet romantic gestures that can make your partner go awww…and fall in love with you again, and again.
You may not believe but even the smallest gestures can turn the day of your partner into a real wonderworld, even if it’s done in the smallest way.
It doesn’t matter if you’re the husband, the wife, a boyfriend, a girlfriend or just a loving individual, if you want to be original, here are the best 25 ways to be romantic.
- Write “I love you” in the steam on the bathroom mirror after he/she takes a shower.
- While in public, declare “I love you, Camila!” (not exactly Camila – your partner’s name.)
- Make a CD with a few songs that are meaningful to your relationship.
- Invite him/her to take a bath complete with bubbles, champagne, candles, and maybe a little Barry White music.
- Surprise her at work and take her out to lunch.
- Put together a little gift on his pillow. Chocolates and a note that says “Your love is like chocolate: sweet and delicious” is a great example.
- Cook a special love meal of your partner’s favorite foods. Play his/her favorite music and turn the lights low for a romantic dinner.
- When your partner has a work presentation at an off-site location, have some beautiful flowers and a note of support delivered there.
- Leave a love note in her car telling her to have a great day.
- When your partner least expects it, give him a big kiss – it’s more efficient to do when you’re in public!
- Give her some flowers saying that you’ll love her like a crazy man until the last flower “dies”. Here, you could put one of the flowers an artificial one. Surprise – your love will last forever!
- You can buy a tree and invite your partner to plant it with you. Explain to them the tree represents the love between you that will grow over the years.
- Blindfold your partner and drive them to the place where you had your first date and have that date all over again!
- You can write a love poem for her.
- You can make an early Valentine. Cut out some paper in the shape of a heart. Write something sweet on it in red and put it in her purse or his briefcase.
- Offer to help them with some huge work they must complete into a shortest time.
- Take a walk on the beach together. Run up ahead, write a message in the sand, and call your partner to see what you “found”.
- Do something romantic and spontaneous, like picking a flower and giving it to her right on the spot.
- Record yourself reading a romantic love poem for your honey. Then, give your partner a CD/USB and tell them to play it in the car on his/her way to work.
- Keep a box with mementos of fun things you’ve done together. When the box is filled, arrange them on a board and have it framed.
- You can also make a donation to charity in the name of your love for your partner. Give your sweetheart a card that tells how grateful you are to share your life with her.
- Say “I love you” more often than you do, but do it slowly, and with feelings.
- Create a small website or blog dedicated to your partner. Write a short love message each day for a month…or forever.
- Be super kind for a whole day. Act like you would with a new love or a child. Show enormous kindness, and generosity, don’t take your phone with you – forget about your work for a day.
- Write the text “I love you or Will U marry me?” under a parachute and pay someone to land down from the sky to your location.
